Our method
Have you chosen to have your floor renovated by Compofloor? Then you have made a good choice! To give you some more information about your renovation floor, we would like to explain our working method in a number of steps.
Step 1:
Measuring your home
Before we can make a (final) quote for you, we will schedule a home visit. Our advisor will visit you to measure your home, take a look at the crawl space and answer all your questions. Following this visit, a final quote will be drawn up in consultation. If you agree with the quote, our work planning will contact you to schedule your floor renovation.
Step 2:
Removing your old floor
Have you chosen to have us dismantle your floor? Then we will ensure that a waste container is placed in front of your door before the work begins and we will carefully remove your old floor. It is of course useful if you keep a space free in front of the door.
Step 3:
Install substructure
We will now place the substructure. We will attach this by means of anchors in/on your current foundation.
Step 4:
Installing Compofloor
The floor can go in! The prefabricated Compofloor elements are placed one by one. Because these are already custom-made in advance, the floor can possibly be laid within 1 day!
Step 5:
Finishing the floor
After the Compofloor elements have been installed, we finish the floor with OSB 4 plates. We also finish the edges airtight. The floor is immediately ready to install your top floor as desired.
Step 6 (Optional):
Installing underfloor heating
If you have chosen to also underfloor heating to be installed, it will be placed immediately after the Compofloor has been finished.
Important issues
When you have made an appointment for the installation of the Compofloor, you will receive a confirmation email from us with the agreements made and the conditions for you new floor easy to assemble. Think of freeing up parking spaces in front of your house, emptying your home etc.
