Renovation floor - Compofloor

Renovation floor

When renovating a home or building a passive or low energy house, it is not only important that it is properly insulated, but that it also meets the building standards for airtightness. The degree of airtightness has a major impact on the energy consumption and comfort of the home. Airtightness means that drafts and other undesired air flows are prevented.

Guarantees for a Compofloor renovation floor

Compofloor guarantees optimum airtightness thanks to the unique interlocking connection between the elements of the retrofit floor. Because these are installed in our controlled factory, errors during assembly are eliminated.

The airtight construction of the floor not only prevents cold air from escaping, but also prevents moisture. The indoor climate of the home will improve considerably through the use of Compofloor.

When renovating your home, it is very important not to increase the load on the existing foundations. The weight of Compofloor is comparable to that of a wooden joist construction and can therefore be applied without structural recalculation.
Due to the low weight of the Compofloor elements, it is easy to assemble within the applicable guidelines.

Simple and quick assembly

Compofloor is prefabricated in our own factory and thus guarantees a high quality and rapid onsite assembly. Because the elements are clicked into each other, the elements have a tight fit. Compofloor is supplied including laying plan, Assembly instruction and fasteners. Compofloor can also manage the installation for you. Assembly instruction and fasteners.

Meets all new construction standards

Compofloor has been developed and tested in practice in collaboration with Eindhoven University of Technology and Imd Raads Ingenieurs. According to NEN-EN 1990, Compofloor meets all requirements for ground floor application.

No waste

Compofloor is supplied prefabricated. This means that no machining operations are carried out during the onsite floor assembly. The inconvenience for residents and the neighbourhood is reduced to a minimum. There is also no residual material during assembly so your home is not contaminated with unwanted waste.

High insulation value

In many homes, the floor is uninsulated, so a lot of heat is lost through the floor. Insulating your floor properly ensures that the floor no longer feels cold and is therefore more comfortable. The temperature difference with insulation can go up by 5 degrees. In addition to less moisture and more warmth, you can save considerably on your heating costs. Compofloor is available in various insulation values (U value). In most cases, the standard U value for Compofloor of 0.22 W/m²K is sufficient.
